The IT Manager oversees the organization's technology infrastructure, manages IT projects, ensures system security, and aligns technology operations with business objectives.

This individual participates in technical research and development to enable ongoing innovation within the infrastructure and ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, thereby enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • IT Systems administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including but not limited to e-mail, web server, database administration, internet access, and applications support).
  • Interfaces directly with internal/external customers and IT contractor groups.
  • Manages application delivery and lifecycle, including endpoint maintenance and refresh.
  • Designs, installs, upgrades, configures, and repairs local and remote systems, hardware, and their business partners.
  • Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves systems problems.
  • Evaluates, tests, and recommends appropriate technology and system architecture
  • Installs/tests client-approved software and upgrades.
  • Manages server volumes by ensuring sufficient disk space, verifying permissions, and maintaining file ownership.
  • Strategically works with company leaders and internal clients to identify initiatives necessary to enhance overall business effectiveness, system reliability, and performance.
  • This position will be primarily located at the Hot Springs, AR, but will require split time with our Benton, AR location.
  • Support end-users with all IT issues.
  • Work with outside vendors as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.A. (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
  • Preferably 2 years in an IT Management role directly supporting an industrial/manufacturing environment or similar support function capable of supporting desktop systems and server infrastructure using current technologies.
  • Brings a “teamwork” first approach to solving problems and communicating to others
  • Previous manufacturing industry experience or aptitude.
  • Industry Certification: MCSE or VMware preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft and other industrial-related software products.
  • Ability to provide timely, accurate, and professional customer-oriented teamwork services while multitasking in a high-volume work environment.
  • Familiarity with Antivirus administration and deployment on servers and workstations.
  • Must be interested in and able to integrate into a robust team-oriented environment.
  • Must be an independent worker, capable of self-direction.
  • Travel required between locations.

Job Type

Full-time

Pay: $80,000. 00 - $100,000. 00 per year
