About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to own and grow key areas of UpClear's revenue management platform. In this role, you will lead products and features from discovery through launch. You will direct the work of Business Systems Analysts, partner closely with Engineering, and represent the product to clients and to UpClear's leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area, and keep it aligned with UpClear's broader platform and business goals.
- Lead the client discovery program: decide which clients to engage, what questions each engagement needs to answer, and how the findings change the roadmap.
- Turn discovery findings, process analyses, and client data into prioritized product decisions, weighing client value against technical effort and time to market.
- Write and own product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and keep them current as the product moves through development.
- Develop prototypes and MVPs and work closely with Engineering to shape solutions, refine scope during development, and make sure what ships meets client needs.
- Set success metrics for the product and for each release, track adoption and outcomes after launch, and use the results to decide what comes next.
- Use client data to test assumptions and size opportunities before committing to a direction.
- Guide and mentor Business Systems Analysts, reviewing their discovery work and documentation and helping them develop.
- Act as the main product contact for clients during discovery, pilots, and rollout, setting clear expectations and building long-term relationships.
- Present the roadmap, progress, and results to executive leadership, and prepare Sales and Client Services for each launch.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning with the delivery team.
Requirements
