The Entry-Level Graphic Designer supports the marketing and creative teams by producing engaging visual content for digital and print channels. This role assists in translating brand concepts into clean, professional designs, managing multiple tasks, and learning internal workflows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Meet with business owners to gain an understanding of their proposed communication and/or marketing design.
- Assists with the creation of assets, including social media graphics, flyers, brochures, presentations, and basic web imagery.
- Adhere to and maintain a working knowledge of departmental policies & procedures, CMS, Federal, State, HIPAA, and NCQA requirements to ensure pieces are created in accordance with all noted guidelines.
- Follow established brand guidelines for color, typography, and layout across all projects.
- Ensures that all materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization in accordance with the company's branding guidelines.
- Attend brainstorming sessions and work with copywriters, marketers, and project managers to execute campaign ideas.
- Revise designs based on constructive feedback from senior designers, art directors, or clients.
- Prepare and organize files for final output, ensuring correct dimensions, resolutions, and formatting.
- Exhibit flexibility to shift priorities and handle multiple tasks to complete work under fluctuating deadlines.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
- Achieves and maintains acceptable performance levels according to the Communications and Quality standards.
- Project Management

Education and/or Experience
Associates degree (A. A.) in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (plus a portfolio showcasing academic or personal projects): or two to five years related experience and/or training in related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite software, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustration, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Teams. The ability to learn new programs and software applications quickly.
Other Qualifications
Previous experience in Managed Care, Medicaid, and Medicare preferred but not required. Type 35 wpm.
