Twist Bakery & Café is a growing, chef-driven hospitality company with a passion for exceptional food, thoughtful service, and creating memorable guest experiences.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on manager to lead our Needham specialty food market while helping to develop our expanding nationwide e-commerce business.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading people, building efficient systems, and contributing to the growth of an established business.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day success of Twist Market and the execution of our expanding e-commerce fulfillment operation.

We're looking for a confident, resourceful leader who can run the business independently, make sound decisions, coach employees, and maintain exceptional standards without constant oversight.

This is a working management position. You'll be equally comfortable leading a team, helping guests, merchandising products, managing inventory, and preparing online orders for shipment.

What You'll Do

Lead the Market

• Independently oversee daily retail operations, ensuring a welcoming guest experience and exceptional presentation.
• Lead, coach, schedule, and hold team members accountable for performance and company standards.
• Manage daily priorities, resolve operational challenges, and make sound decisions.
• Maintain product availability, inventory accuracy, merchandising, and cleanliness.
• Monitor sales, labor efficiency, and operational performance.
• Build a team capable of executing responsibilities consistently and independently.

Manage E-Commerce Fulfillment

• Oversee the daily processing, packing, and shipping of online orders.
• Help establish efficient fulfillment procedures as our nationwide shipping business grows.
• Ensure order accuracy, packaging quality, food safety, and timely shipment.
• Coordinate inventory and product availability between retail and online channels.
• Become proficient with Shopify, shipping platforms, and related systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve fulfillment efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

Take Ownership

• Organize priorities across retail and fulfillment operations.
• Anticipate needs, solve problems, and follow through on commitments.
• Develop employees who can confidently execute established procedures and maintain standards.
• Communicate effectively with company leadership, bringing solutions and recommendations.
• Support future growth, including expanded retail hours and increased online order volume.

What We're Looking For

• Previous management experience in specialty retail, hospitality, food service, or a related environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach employees, manage performance, and operate independently.
• Strong organizational skills, relentless attention to detail, and sound judgment.
• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Confidence using technology and learning new systems.
• Experience with inventory management, scheduling, coaching, and operational controls.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to hospitality.
• E-commerce, Shopify, or shipping and fulfillment experience is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $60,000–$65,000, based on experience.
• Full-time, Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
