AREA ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Twenty Four Seven Hotels is seeking an experienced Area Hotel Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations for two Cambria properties: Cambria Hotel LAX and Cambria Hotel Burbank Airport. This role serves as the primary accounting partner for both hotels, ensuring accurate financial reporting, revenue controls, accounts receivable management, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily income audit, cash management, and revenue reconciliation processes for both properties.
• Review and reconcile guest ledger, A/R ledger, deposits, credit card transactions, and daily revenue reports.
• Manage accounts receivable, guest and group billing, collections, and chargeback administration.
• Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Partner with General Managers and department leaders to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures, cash handling policies, and financial reporting standards.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial performance.
• Serve as a liaison between hotel leadership and the Corporate Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of income audit, accounts receivable, cash management, and financial reporting.
• Experience with hotel accounting systems and ProfitSage preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel periodically between Cambria LAX and Cambria Burbank.
