About this role
Twelve is a next-generation industrial company advancing how everyday products are made from the molecule up. AirPlant is our Power-to-X hydrocarbon platform that harnesses CO2, water, and electricity to make essential fuels and chemicals that underpin the global economy. We are on a mission to advance industry for the next century and lead a new era of innovation where everyday products are made from air.
Twelve's Corporate Finance team sits at the center of a constant, high-stakes fundraising effort managing a complex mix of debt and equity, often across several live financing processes running in parallel. As an early-stage company operating in a technically complex industry, our ability to raise capital efficiently and communicate a clear, credible story to each investor is critical to the business.
We're looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to join our team and help translate a sophisticated operating model and technology platform into a compelling, well-supported narrative for the partners who fund our growth.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, you'll play a central role in investor due diligence, financing execution, and fundraising materials with direct exposure to our CEO and senior leadership and the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes capital raises.
This is a demanding, fast-moving role that requires real resilience, sharp judgment under pressure, and exceptional follow-through, but it comes with a rare level of visibility into how a growing, technically ambitious company gets funded.
What you will do
- Lead and coordinate investor and lender due diligence efforts for corporate debt, project finance, and equity capital raises, managing individual investor data rooms with strict attention to confidentiality and information access
- Serve as the central coordinator across fundraising and diligence workstreams, gathering input from engineering, operations, legal, and finance teams and driving accountability to ensure responses are complete, consistent, and delivered on time
- Manage multiple concurrent fundraising, diligence, and financing workstreams, tracking deliverables, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring critical deadlines are met
- Maintain the organization's fundraising and diligence knowledge base, keeping historical investor responses, supporting documentation, financial models, and technical materials organized and readily accessible across the team
- Drive execution of financing transactions in partnership with the Corporate Finance team and outside counsel, supporting note financings, warrant issuances, closing checklists, signature collection, and related documentation from diligence through closing
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of the company's long-range financial model, building analyses and incorporating updates related to fundraising, project development, and technology performance
- Develop and continually update investor-facing materials, including the Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM), lender decks, and periodic investor updates, ensuring communications remain accurate, consistent, and appropriately tailored to the diligence requirements of each stakeholder
- Support and coordinate technical diligence efforts related to our infrastructure and technology projects, translating complex technical information into clear, investor- and lender-ready materials
- Work directly with the CEO and senior leadership on investor meetings and fundraising strategy, representing the company professionally with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Manage quarterly and monthly investor and lender reporting requirements across multiple concurrent financing processes
- Support future preferred equity fundraising rounds as the company continues to scale
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2-4 years in investment banking, corporate development, or private equity, followed by 2-3 years in a corporate finance, treasury, or investor relations role, or 5+ years in a highly transactional finance role with direct experience managing complex, document-intensive transactions involving multiple external stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills, with demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex, multi-driver financial models
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and synthesize complex technical or engineering concepts and translate them for a financial audience
- Exceptional organizational discipline and follow-through, with the ability to drive dozens of simultaneous requests across internal and external stakeholders while maintaining accuracy and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience managing confidential information and materials in a high-stakes, detail-sensitive environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished, investor-ready materials
- Comfort and credibility working directly with senior executives and external investors/lenders
