As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you can utilize many of our on\-site amenities when working with your clients, including our warm water therapy pool.

We understand our employees have busy lives outside of work and we strive to accommodate to their needs to achieve a good work/life balance. This is a full\-time, 40 hour/week position. The typical schedule is Monday\-Thursday, 8:00 am \- 6:00 pm.

**As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, your duties would include but are not limited to:**

**Treatment \& Direct Care Responsibilities**

  • Analyze medical information and complete initial evaluations, using clinical findings to develop written plans of care with measurable short‑ and long‑term goals.
  • Provide individualized habilitation and rehabilitation services aligned with client diagnosis, needs, and developmental level.
  • Modify treatment based on ongoing assessment, progress, or changes in client status, following age\-appropriate guidelines.
  • Educate and train clients, parents, guardians, and caregivers on treatment procedures and home programming.
  • Assist in evaluating, recommending, and participating in the purchase or development of adaptive equipment, durable medical equipment, therapy tools, and materials in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Provide direct supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants per Indiana state law and organizational policy.
  • Provide training and supervision for Rehabilitation Therapy Aides assisting with therapy services.
  • Supervise and train Physical Therapy and Physical Therapist Assistant students from affiliated universities.
  • Instruct and provide direction to volunteers and program observers as needed.

**Administrative, Documentation, and Professional Responsibilities**

  • Document all services in the client’s chart, including evaluations, daily intervention notes, progress reports, discharge summaries, and billing information, in accordance with departmental timelines, professional standards, and payer requirements.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, thorough, descriptive, and compliant with Turnstone, accrediting bodies, third‑party payers, physicians, and contract agencies.
  • Complete letters of medical necessity and other written communication required to support therapeutic intervention and funding needs.
  • Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary service providers to share treatment recommendations, goals, and relevant updates to promote continuity of care.
  • Maintain professional licensure through required continuing education, complete all mandatory organizational trainings and competencies, and maintain current CPR certification.

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Graduate of a School of Physical Therapy, holding a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (depending on year of graduation)
  • Current and valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Indiana
  • Current and maintained certification in CPR and First Aid.
