About this role

WE'RE HIRING: ACCOUNTING MANAGER – CLIENT ACCOUNTING & TEAM LEADERSHIP

Philippines | Fully Remote | US Pacific Time Zone

We are looking for an experienced, highly capable accounting professional in the Philippines to take on a key leadership role in our growing accounting team.

We are seeking someone who is not only technically strong but also a natural leader—someone who can independently manage complex accounting work, lead client relationships, train and mentor other accountants, and help build and grow a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including full-charge bookkeeping, general ledger management, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Lead prior-period accounting cleanups, identify and resolve discrepancies, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
  • Independently lead client meetings and serve as a trusted accounting advisor.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Train team members and establish best practices, workflows, and quality control standards.
  • Support the growth of our Philippines accounting operations and build a team capable of serving multiple clients.
  • Leverage modern accounting technologies and automation tools to improve processes, efficiency, and client service.
  • Work with technology-forward accounting platforms, including Puzzle, and help the team maximize their capabilities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong end-to-end accounting knowledge and hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounting.
  • Proven expertise in general ledger management, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Significant experience handling historical accounting cleanups and resolving complex accounting discrepancies.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and manage accounting professionals.
  • A technology-forward mindset, with an interest in accounting automation, cloud-based systems, and emerging financial technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of accounting deliverables.

Pay: From $1,200.00 per month
