Role Description

The Part-time Graphic Designer will work on-site in Orlando, FL, supporting Track Shack Events with visual design for events, marketing campaigns, and brand communications. This role involves creating graphics for print and digital channels, designing event materials such as signage, race bibs, promotional collateral, and social media assets, while maintaining consistent brand identity across all touchpoints.

The Graphic Designer will collaborate with marketing and event staff to translate concepts into clear visual solutions, prepare files for production, and ensure all deliverables meet quality and deadline expectations. Day-to-day activities include refining existing designs, producing new layouts and logos, selecting typography, and assisting with visual branding for community and charity-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Graphic Design and Graphics for print and digital applications.
  • Experience with Logo Design and Branding to support cohesive event and company identities.
  • Proficiency in Typography and layout design for clear, appealing communication.
  • Ability to use industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent).
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative, community-focused, or event-related design work.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams on-site.
  • Previous experience in sports, events, or nonprofit design is a plus; relevant education or training in graphic design or visual communications preferred.
  • Video experience a plus.
