Job description

About this role

We’re looking for the kind of new NP we’d be excited to build a practice around.

You’ve recently earned your NP degree, passed your boards, and you’re ready to make the transition from student to independent clinician. You may not have years of NP experience yet—and that’s okay.

What matters to us is that you’re smart, curious, dependable, compassionate, and willing to ask questions when you’re not sure.

We want an NP who takes ownership of patients, thinks critically rather than simply following a checklist, communicates exceptionally well, and genuinely enjoys caring for people.

What you’ll do

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the primary-care spectrum.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans and follow patients longitudinally.
  • Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
  • Prescribe medications within your scope of practice.
  • Educate patients and families in a clear, practical way.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the care team.
  • Recognize when a patient needs escalation, consultation, or emergency evaluation.
  • Build trusting relationships with patients rather than treating them like a number.

What we’re looking for

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program within the last 18 months.
  • Current or eligible Colorado NP licensure.
  • National board certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

The qualities that will make you stand out:

  • You know what you don't know—and you're comfortable asking.
  • You can explain your clinical reasoning.
  • You accept feedback without becoming defensive.
  • You are organized and follow through.
  • You treat patients, families, and coworkers with respect.
  • You demonstrate sound judgment under pressure.
  • You want to become an outstanding clinician, not simply obtain your first NP job.

What we offer

  • A structured onboarding and mentorship period designed for an early-career NP.
  • Regular access to experienced clinicians for case discussion and consultation.
  • A supportive team environment where questions are encouraged.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • A practice culture focused on excellent patient care rather than simply maximizing volume.

Your first 90 days matter to us.

We don't expect a new graduate to know everything on day one. We do expect you to prepare, listen, learn quickly, recognize your limits, and steadily become more confident and capable. If that sounds like you, we'd like to meet you.

To apply

Send your CV and a brief letter telling us why you chose advanced practice nursing, what you learned during your clinical rotations, and what kind of clinician you hope to become. Please send it to [email protected]

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Paid time off
  • Professional development assistance

Work Location: In person
