We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support complex IT infrastructure environments. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on Microsoft technologies, virtualization, cloud, networking, and enterprise infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, storage, networking, Azure, and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Lead infrastructure projects including server migrations, cloud transitions, network upgrades, and data center initiatives.
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex infrastructure issues.
- Partner with clients and internal teams on technical solutions, project delivery, and infrastructure roadmaps.
- Develop technical documentation and infrastructure diagrams.
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
- Strong Microsoft experience including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Nutanix, VMware, and/or Hyper-V.
- Strong knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, SAN/NAS, and storage.
- Experience with Azure, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, and Exchange Online.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
- MSP, VAR, or enterprise infrastructure experience preferred.
- Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix, or networking certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and pass a background check.
