Registered Nurse

Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll assess patients, coordinate care, and deliver safe, compassionate nursing across the care setting. You’ll use sound clinical judgment, clear communication, and accurate documentation to support each patient’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, recognize changes in condition, and support diagnostic evaluation and triage.
• Administer medications, injections, and intravenous (IV) infusions; perform IV insertion, catheter care, and other procedures within your scope.
• Coordinate care plans, intake, discharge planning, referrals, and communication with patients, families, and the care team.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems while protecting privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Follow infection control and aseptic technique practices; respond to emergencies using basic life support (BLS) procedures as appropriate.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required; current BLS certification required where applicable.
• Required: nursing knowledge, patient assessment, medication administration, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and clear clinical documentation.
• Preferred: patient care experience in hospital, acute care, outpatient, clinic, primary care, emergency, critical care, long-term care, senior care, home care, or post-acute settings.
• Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or other EMR/EHR systems is preferred; knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, or ICD coding is a plus.
• Additional experience in pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, dialysis, telemetry, labor and delivery, surgery, hospice, trauma, or developmental disability care is valued.

Pay: $37.71 - $40.00 per hour
