The Role
As a Sales Representative, you will win new construction projects from start to finish. You will meet with builders and contractors, review plans, homeowners, prepare accurate quotes, and make sure every project is scoped correctly before it is handed to our install team.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with builders, general contractors, and homeowners.
- Review blueprints and project plans to identify security, sound, and low-voltage needs.
- Prepare accurate quotes and estimates, including all equipment, materials, and labor.
- Review each quote carefully for completeness before sending it to the customer.
- Visit job sites to measure, assess, and confirm project requirements.
- Follow up on quotes and close sales.
- Work with the install team and office staff so projects are scheduled and delivered correctly.
- Keep customer records, quotes, and job details up to date in our system.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of sales experience.
- Experience preparing quotes or estimates.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when listing equipment and pricing.
- Comfortable reading plans or learning to read them.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to visit job sites.
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, quoting software).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in security, audio/video, low voltage, electrical, or new construction sales.
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field-service software.
