About the Team

TikTok E\-commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) is a global team responsible for ensuring our TikTok Shop marketplace is safe and trustworthy for users, sellers, and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality.

The USDS Risk Control and Security team within GNE focuses on fighting various forms of fraud and abuse within the TikTok Shop ecosystem via insight generation, scaled enforcement, automation, and prevention. Responsibilities: \- Lead, coordinate, and develop risk domain automated rules and strategies via analyzing user behavior, content, user feedback and other data.

\- Show leadership within your risk domain by setting the strategic direction, coordinating efforts with your partner stakeholders, and setting the roadmap of the team. \- Reduce capital loss and improve metrics related to risk exposure by building a systematic framework of risk management to cover the entire breadth of your business domain.

\- Drive the improvement and upgrade of product safety mechanisms, and be responsible for the effectiveness of risk mitigation plans. \- Cooperate with tech and analytics teams to build and improve risk perception, identification, intervention and governance effect measurement systems.

\- Manage prioritization and balance trade\-offs among seller experience, user experience, creator experience, and platform performance/protection within the ecosystem. \- Engage with various business, operation, tech and security/risk stakeholders to solve risk problems at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: \- Bachelor's degree or above with a background in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Math, Statistics, or related fields.
• \- 5\+ years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Anti\-fraud, financial services, risk management, trust \& safety.
• \- Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive actionable insights and validate assumptions.
• \- Ability to deep dive into new fraud attacks, diagnose vulnerabilities, and leverage key control points to mitigate risk.
• \- Experience with creating anti\-fraud enforcement rules for scaled enforcement.
• \- SQL, MySQL, or equivalent, Python or equivalent \- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast\-paced environment, and driving innovation on behalf of internal and external stakeholders.
• Preferred Qualifications: \- Familiarity with E\-commerce risk management and ecosystem management.
• \- Strong communication skills.
• Job Information 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $165120 \- $414000 annually.
• Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
• Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
• Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
