A day in the life

• Own month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timelines are met and entries are accurate.
• Prepare clear, timely financial statements and internal management reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and key general ledger balances with a keen eye for detail.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to support decision-making.
• Prepare, file, and remit monthly sales and use tax returns.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles with reliable inputs and variance insights.
• Assist with audits by assembling documentation and responding to requests.
• Partner with operations and other departments to improve and streamline accounting processes.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Background in manufacturing or construction environments is preferred.
• Comfort with accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills; Sage 100 experience is a plus.
• Analytical mindset and practical problem-solving ability.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Clear, professional communication skills—both written and verbal.
