Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Merchant Kitchen & Drinks is seeking an experienced and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant activities and support efficient business operations. The ideal candidate will lead restaurant staff, coordinate kitchen and front-of-house operations, maintain service standards, and help improve overall restaurant performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and service activities.
• Supervise and support front-of-house and kitchen team members.
• Coordinate staff schedules, shift assignments, and daily workflows.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service efficiency.
• Assist with inventory management, supply orders, and cost control.
• Review operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Address customer concerns and resolve service issues professionally.
• Support employee training, onboarding, and development.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace regulations.
• Coordinate with management to support operational goals.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management or operations experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service standards.
• Experience with staff scheduling and inventory management.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to motivate and support team members.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends when scheduled.
