Occupational Therapist (OT) – Virtual School-Based Services | Per Diem

The Lingual Tree, Inc. is seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide virtual school-based services for the 2026–2027 school year.

Opportunities include occupational therapy assessments and virtual therapy. Therapists may choose assessment assignments only, virtual therapy only, or both, depending on their interests and availability.

An active California Occupational Therapist license is required.

Responsibilities

Depending on the assignments you choose:

· Assessments: Conduct occupational therapy assessments to evaluate students’ functional and educational needs and prepare assessment reports.

· Virtual Therapy: Provide individual and/or group occupational therapy services virtually based on students’ IEPs.

· IEP Development: Collaborate with educational teams and families to develop appropriate OT goals, accommodations, and interventions.

· Consultation: Recommend strategies, environmental modifications, and adaptive materials to support student participation and success.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, progress reports, assessment reports, and other required documentation.

· IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other service providers.

Requirements

· Active California Occupational Therapist license issued by CBOT

· NBCOT certification

· At least one year of occupational therapy experience; school-based experience preferred

· Experience with assessments, IEPs, and school-based documentation preferred

· Ability to complete required background clearance and TB requirements

· Reliable internet connection and a private workspace suitable for virtual services

· Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
