Firm: The Legacy Lawyers, P.C.
Schedule

Why The Legacy Lawyers?
At The Legacy Lawyers, technology is part of how we deliver excellent service to clients facing difficult probate, trust, estate, and conservatorship matters. We are looking for a Legal Technology & IT Manager who can keep our systems running, help our people use them well, and lead practical improvements as the firm grows.
This is a hands-on role with firmwide impact. You will be the person our team turns to when technology gets in the way of their work, and the person who looks ahead to prevent those problems, improve workflows, and make sure our tools are worth the investment.
Who We Are?
The Legacy Lawyers, P.C. is one of California's fastest-growing litigation firms focused exclusively on probate, trust, estate, and conservatorship disputes.
Our work protects families, preserves legacies, and resolves high-stakes conflicts that often shape generations to come. We value service, integrity, building relationships, accountability, and believe strong systems should make it easier for our associates to provide excellent service to our clients.
Everything We Do Is Guided By Our Core Values:
● Integrity – Always doing the right thing, especially when no one is watching.
● Relationships – Build relationships, and all else will follow.
● Service – Do what you do so well that people can't help telling others about you.
● Illuminate – Brighten every space you enter.
● Getting Stuff Done – Start now. Keep it fun, fast, and focused.
Compensation & Benefits:
● Starting salary: $130,000.00
● 3 weeks of paid vacation
● 7 paid holidays
● 5 paid sick days
● Gold-level medical, dental, and vision insurance
● First-time homebuyer benefit
● Life insurance
● 3.5% firm-matched retirement plan
● Leadership and advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing firm
What You'll Do:
● Manage the firm’s day-to-day technology operations, including computers, accounts,
software, printers, scanners, phones, video meetings, and office connectivity.
● Provide timely, approachable support to attorneys and staff in both offices, prioritizing
issues that affect clients or time-sensitive legal work.
● Set up technology and system access for new employees, adjust permissions when
responsibilities change, and promptly remove access when employees leave.
● Administer and improve the firm’s practice management, document management,
communications, intake, electronic signature, and productivity systems.
● Audit how the firm uses its technology. Identify inconsistent practices, unused features,
duplicate work, access concerns, and opportunities to improve efficiency.
● Lead technology projects, including evaluating solutions, coordinating vendors, testing
changes, managing rollouts, and confirming employees can use the new process.
● Maintain device inventories, software licenses, subscriptions, vendor records, and
documentation of system configurations and procedures.
● Review user permissions, sharing settings, multifactor authentication, software updates,
and other safeguards for confidential client and firm information.
● Coordinate backups, recovery testing, outage response, and security incident response
with leadership and outside specialists.
● Support the technical aspects of legal workflows, including matter organization,
document handling, calendaring, data exports, and electronic discovery.
● Evaluate proposed automations and AI tools with leadership, including their usefulness,
accuracy, confidentiality risks, and training needs.
● Create clear instructions and train employees so technology changes become consistent
day-to-day practices.
● Track recurring support issues and report to leadership on system use, project progress,
risks, vendor performance, and recommended improvements.
What We're Looking For:
● Experience managing or supporting technology in a law firm or other professional
services environment.
● Strong knowledge of cloud-based systems, account administration, device support,
cybersecurity fundamentals, and vendor management.
● Excellent judgment when handling confidential information and controlling access to firm
systems.
● Clear communication skills and a patient, service-oriented approach to supporting
employees with different levels of technical experience.
● Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to document processes others can
reliably use.
● Experience using Artificial Intelligence, such as: ChatGPT, Claude, etc.
Why Join Our Team?
You will have the opportunity to shape how technology works across the firm, rather than simply respond when something breaks. Your work will help attorneys and staff spend less time navigating systems and more time serving clients.
If you enjoy helping people, strengthening systems, and taking ownership of technology from idea through implementation, we would like to hear from you.
