Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment: Leadership Position
Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance-based incentives
Relocation: Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of our irrigation installation division, with responsibility for crew leadership, production scheduling, project execution, quality control, and profitability.
- The right person will be comfortable in the field, capable of leading experienced tradespeople, and equally comfortable managing schedules, budgets, and performance.
- You'll work directly with company leadership and have a meaningful role in shaping how our installation operations grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop installation foremen and field crews.
- Coordinate project scheduling, staffing, equipment, and materials.
- Oversee residential and commercial irrigation installations from project handoff through completion.
- Monitor project labor hours, material costs, job profitability, and production efficiency.
- Establish and maintain installation quality and safety standards.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements.
- Recruit, train, and develop future crew leaders.
- Coordinate with sales, estimating, service, and office personnel.
- Build repeatable processes that support additional crews and future market expansion.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing field crews in irrigation, landscape construction, utilities, plumbing, or a related trade.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and competing priorities.
- Understanding of job costing, labor productivity, and project profitability.
- Comfortable using technology for scheduling, reporting, and operational management.
- A hands-on, solutions-oriented leadership style.
- Someone who takes ownership, holds people accountable, and earns the respect of their team.
Prior irrigation experience is valuable, but strong operational leadership experience is equally important.
- Opportunity to lead an established installation department.
- Direct access to company ownership and leadership.
- Significant autonomy and responsibility.
- Competitive compensation and benefits.
Relocation reimbursement available for qualified out-of-area candidates, with terms negotiated as part of the employment offer.
A growing company with opportunities for advancement.
The ability to help build something much larger than a single installation department.
We're looking for a leader who takes pride in developing people, delivering quality work, and building an efficient, profitable operation.
If that sounds like you, we'd welcome a conversation.
