Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and physical examinations for infants, children, and adolescents to assess their health status.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric illnesses, injuries, and developmental concerns utilizing current clinical practices.
• Develop individualized care plans that include preventive care, immunizations, and health education tailored to each patient's needs.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across specialties such as cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, and behavioral health to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide guidance to parents and caregivers on child health issues, nutrition, growth milestones, and disease prevention strategies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to work in the state of New York as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
• CPR certified
• Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
