About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an established technology organization seeking an experienced

PCB Designer

to support the development of advanced electronic products and systems.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented designer with a strong background in complex PCB layouts, high-speed circuitry, and RF applications. The selected candidate will work alongside engineering and manufacturing teams to develop reliable, high-performance designs from initial concepts through production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize complex, multilayer printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for high-speed and RF applications.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and test engineering teams to ensure designs meet performance and production requirements.
  • Incorporate signal integrity, power distribution, thermal considerations, and other design requirements into PCB layouts.
  • Prepare schematics, fabrication drawings, assembly documentation, and manufacturing files.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and manufacturing partners to support component selection, material specifications, and production readiness.
  • Review designs for manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with applicable industry standards.
  • Support design improvements, troubleshooting, and technical documentation throughout the development process.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on PCB design experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience using Altium Designer

for PCB layout and schematic development.

  • Experience with Cadence Allegro / System Capture or the ability and willingness to learn the platform.
  • Strong understanding of RF circuitry, high-speed signal routing, power distribution, and thermal management.
  • Knowledge of impedance control, transmission lines, signal integrity, crosstalk, grounding, and termination techniques.
  • Familiarity with a variety of electronic interfaces and circuit types, including analog, digital, RF, USB, Ethernet, and DDR memory.
  • Understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Ability to create clear engineering documentation, technical drawings, and work instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with additional design tools such as AutoCAD, ADS, or SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with Cadence SKILL scripting.
  • Exposure to Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), or Electromagnetic (EM) simulation and analysis.
  • Experience supporting PCB designs through prototyping, validation, and production.
