  • Support the build and launch of new products, coverages, endorsements, and geographies, including working with state Departments of Insurance to secure approval
  • Partner with Actuarial and Analytics teams to assess state-level profitability, identify opportunities, and develop data-driven recommendations for improvement
  • Review competitor filings, rate algorithms, and underwriting guidelines, along with industry and regulatory developments, to inform product enhancements
  • Implement underwriting rules and guideline changes directed at achieving business goals
  • Prepare and present state and product performance reviews to Segment Leadership and senior product leaders

Prioritize and sequence competing product initiatives for assigned states based on business impact

  • 3+ years of P&C insurance experience in product management, underwriting, pricing, or a related role, with exposure to personal lines homeowners
  • Experience supporting or managing P&L results, rate revisions, or regulatory filings for one or more states
  • Working knowledge of homeowners ratemaking, underwriting, product design, and the state filing process
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to perform hands-on quantitative analysis

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, mathematics, economics, risk management/insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred

  • Direct experience owning P&L results and leading filings across multiple states
  • Experience launching new products, coverages, endorsements, or entering new territories
  • Familiarity with E&S property products in addition to admitted homeowners
