Staff Accountant

Atlanta Dental Supply is hiring a new member to assist our accounting team in Duluth, GA.

Job Responsibilities include:

· Enter AP invoices.

· Perform Account reconciliations monthly for customers and vendors.

· Apply & match incoming payments individually and in batches to customer accounts.

· Some Collection Activities including reaching out when there are discrepancies with payment methods/ payment amounts, and following up on outstanding balances.

· Assist in processing account credits.

· Sending Invoices, Statements, research & resolving customer discrepancies & disputes.

· Answer occasional phone calls in our accounting queue and take customer payments.

· Set up and maintain customer accounts. Validate customer orders against hold queue.

· Assist in Month End Close process and help prepare Journal Entries.

· Create monthly invoices for Free Goods, Advertising, SPIFFs, etc.

Position Requirements:

• Must be detail oriented and have strong communication and customer service skills.
• Hours are 8am – 4:45pm Monday – Friday in office with 45-minute lunch breaks.
• Must have reliable transportation to commute to our Duluth, GA location daily.
• Strong morals and ethics. This position will see sensitive customer information and requires privacy and compliance with laws and ethical guidelines.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and eligible for employment in the U.S.

Preferences (not Requirements):

• 2-5 Years of Corporate Accounting Experience
• Finance or Accounting degree

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
