We are seeking an experienced

Product Owner with strong FinTech and Payments expertise

to drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of payment products and platforms.

Position Details

• Location: Plano, TX – Onsite
• Duration: 12 months
• Pay Rate:

$60/hr W2

• Experience:

8+ years overall, including 5+ years in Product Ownership and the Payments domain

• LinkedIn profile required

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap for payment products and services.
• Gather, define, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage product backlogs, sprint planning, and release prioritization.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and external payment partners.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of payment solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and security teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Monitor payment transaction performance, customer adoption, and operational KPIs.
• Support UAT, production releases, and post-implementation reviews.
• Drive payment modernization and platform transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payment platforms such as Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, Fiserv, FIS, First Data, Worldpay, TSYS, or similar.
• Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 8583, ISO 20022, SWIFT, and Open Banking standards.
• Experience with payment modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
• CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent certification.
• Loyalty, Rewards, Retail, E-commerce, Fraud/Risk, or AI-driven payment optimization experience is a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant FinTech/Product certifications preferred.

Work Authorization

Candidates must currently have one of the following U. S. work authorizations:

U. S. Citizen, Green Card, H4 EAD, or GC EAD.
