**Temple University's Office of Enrollment Management is searching for a Web Developer. **

**Salary Range: $55,000 \- $60,000**

**Summary of Position**
The Web Developer will report to the Manager, Application Services, and support the Office of the University Registrar's strategic planning activities and goals by collaborating with office managers and other developers to build high\-quality application systems to support customer service and organizational operations. The Web Developer will work on sandbox and production\-level web applications using JSP, HTML/CSS, D3\.
js, jQuery, and other web technologies. Performs other duties assigned.

**Required Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree
- And at least 1 (one) year related technical experience in web development, software architecture, or database application and with relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and related web technologies.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
**Required Skills and Ability**
- Demonstrated understanding and technical grasp of software development lifecycles.
- Strong analytical, programming, interfacing and testing skills.
- Experience developing Java web\-based applications.
- Knowledge in core web technologies including HTML4/5, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX.
- Ability to solve analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
- Demonstrated understanding and technical grasp of relational databases, machine learning methodology, and large data sets.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, high\-volume, high\-dimensionality data from varying sources.
- Demonstrated ability to write analytical and technical reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to relate to a diverse group of management and staff.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and work independently, as well as part of a team with a commitment to detail and accuracy.
- Self\-starter with strong self\-management skills.
- Ability to work extended hours when needed.
- Interest in web development, and a passion for identifying and answering questions to build the best products and services to meet our customers’ needs.
