Overview:

TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, offering strategic talent solutions to clients worldwide. Our client is a U.S. aerospace manufacturer, defense contractor, and launch service provider that operates rocket vehicles for launching spacecraft into Earth’s orbit and beyond. Its key customers include the U.S.

Department of Defense and NASA, and its notable launch systems include the Atlas V, Delta IV Heavy, and the recently developed Vulcan Centaur rocket. The company has more than 100 years of combined launch heritage through its Atlas and Delta rocket families and has operated since 2006, with a strong reputation for reliable launch services and a 100% success record over two decades of operations.

The client supports highly technical aerospace and national-security programs that require strong engineering, drafting, documentation, and configuration-control practices.

Job Description

The Operations Analyst position provides daily on‑site support for a major, high‑visibility space‑industry infrastructure effort. The role serves as a field representative who monitors construction progress, verifies completed work, coordinates directly with contractors, captures questions, and brings clear, actionable information back to the engineering and design teams.

Responsibilities include tracking and organizing RFIs, assisting with submittal coordination, maintaining project documentation, supporting schedule development and updates, and gathering evidence needed to close systems engineering requirements.

The work takes place in a uniquely technical environment inside a rocket‑processing facility, requiring adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn how specialized ground systems integrate with launch‑vehicle operations.

Success in this role comes from being present in the field every day, staying aware of evolving construction activities, and proactively connecting the field and design teams to keep the project aligned, informed, and moving forward.

Qualifications:

  • 9 years supporting engineering, construction, operations, or project execution
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, and standard Microsoft Office tools
  • Able to maintain and update project schedules, status reports, action items, and trackers
  • Experience coordinating RFIs, submittals, design documents, and other project records
  • Comfortable working in the field to verify status, identify issues, and support project coordination
  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
  • Able to coordinate across engineering, construction, contractors, and operations personnel
  • Industrial, construction, aerospace, or similar facility experience preferred

TekWissen® Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
