Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with an OTA exposure to lead end-to-end planning and execution of diagnostics and remote software delivery initiatives You will orchestrate cross-functional delivery (Engineering, Cloud, Data, DevOps, Vehicle Systems, Cybersecurity, and Field Ops), enabling faster, safer, and compliant OTA diagnostics, package orchestration, and deployment at scale.

Responsibilities

Program & Delivery Leadership

• Own the end-to-end program charter for diagnostic features and OTA delivery across multiple releases; build, maintain, and track integrated roadmaps.
• Run program rituals: PI planning, sprint planning, dependency mapping, risk/issue management, and executive status reporting.
• Define and drive OKRs & KPIs (e.g., successful OTA deployment %, diagnostic coverage, time-to-detect/time-to-mitigate fault events).

Technical Scope & Architecture Alignment

• Partner with architects and leads to align diagnostics/OTA solutions with cloud-native reference architectures (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable).
• Oversee package strategy (delta updates, rollbacks, retries), campaign management, and vehicle state validation prior to OTA deployment.

Data, Tools & Automation

• Enable observability and analytics: BigQuery pipelines, Looker Studio & Jira dashboards for OTA progress, failure heatmaps, diagnostic KPIs.
• Govern interfaces/APIs across in-house services, SharePoint, Jira, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD tooling.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Engage with platform teams, vehicle line teams, suppliers, and operations to drive cross-domain alignment.
• Manage SOWs, budgets, and vendor deliverables; run steering reviews and executive communications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical/Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years total experience with 3–5 years as a Technical Program Manager/Engineering Manager/Project Manager in connected vehicles, embedded/telematics, or cloud platforms.
• Hands-on familiarity with BigQuery, Looker Studio, Jira and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency with Jira (projects/roadmaps/automation), Confluence, GitHub/GitHub Actions, release governance, and change control.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to service-oriented diagnostics (SOD), FOTA/SOTA, package delta strategies, and campaign orchestration.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM-assisted automations for triage, anomaly detection, and operational copilots.
• Background with Looker Studio & Jira dashboards, SharePoint automation, and program data hygiene.
• Certifications: PMP/Prince2, SAFe/Agile, Cloud Architect (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Key Tools & Tech Stack:

• Cloud: GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, IAM), AWS/Azure equivalent.
• Data & Dashboards: BigQuery, Looker Studio, Python/SQL, Dataproc/Composer (or equivalents).
• DevOps: GitHub, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, Terraform/Ansible, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Program & Docs: Jira (Advanced Roadmaps), Confluence, SharePoint.
• APIs & Services: REST/GraphQL, OAuth2/JWT, service mesh/gateway exposure.
• Diagnostics/Vehicle: UDS, OBD-II, DoIP, DTC frameworks, telematics pipelines.
