Data Scientist

We are hiring a Data Scientist to solve complex business problems with data. Working directly with VPs and business leaders, you will help define the right problems, choose the right approach, and build predictive and AI-driven solutions that go beyond dashboards and reports.

You will partner with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence to shape a modern analytics platform on Microsoft Fabric and help set practical standards for how models are developed, documented, and monitored as AI adoption grows. This role is ideal for a builder who enjoys a clean slate and wants to make a visible impact on the business.

Must-Haves:

• Proven track record of solving business problems with data: partnering with stakeholders and leaders to define the problem and deliver a data-driven solution.
• Hands-on statistical, predictive, or machine learning modeling experience
• Strong Python and SQL for data transformation, analysis, and model development
• Builder mindset. Comfortable with ambiguity and with helping build the data foundation rather than expecting a finished platform on day one (HM emphasized).
• Strong communication skills, including explaining models, findings, and tradeoffs to non-technical business leaders

Nice To Haves:

• Power BI semantic models and DAX.
• Microsoft Fabric: notebooks, Lakehouses, Fabric apps, and data agents.
• Generative AI and LLM experience, including data agents and conversational analytics.
• Pricing optimization or win/loss modeling, or operational forecasting such as work orders, service, or parts.
• Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices
