Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll turn business needs and complex data into clear, actionable insights. You’ll lead requirements analysis, assess software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, and partner with stakeholders to shape analytics, reporting, and technology solutions. Your work will help teams make informed decisions and deliver projects with confidence.

Duties

• Lead business analysis and requirements analysis, translating stakeholder needs into documented processes, specifications, and data models.
• Analyze SQL databases and data flows, including extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes; support database design, query management, and data model design.
• Develop dashboards and reports using business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
• Apply data analytics tools and analysis skills, using SQL and, as appropriate, Python, R, Excel, VBA, or Bash (Unix shell) to investigate and present findings.
• Support Agile project management and SDLC analysis; use tools such as Visio and platforms including Talend, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, analytics, data analysis, dashboard development, and reporting and dashboarding tools.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL databases, data visualization, and business intelligence.
• Technical proficiency with relevant tools; experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Talend is valuable.
• Familiarity with Agile, project management, SDLC, ETL, database design, and linked data.
• Experience with Python, R, Excel data analysis, VBA, Bash, Visio, or data model design is preferred.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
