Occupational Therapist

Taylor Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team! This position offers the opportunity to work 3–5 days per week in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment serving patients across a variety of settings and stages of life.

Taylor Physical Therapy is a leading provider of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as sports management, in Northeast Iowa. As a privately owned outpatient and inpatient practice with 8 locations throughout the Cedar Valley, including Waverly, home of Wartburg College, Taylor Therapy is committed to ongoing clinical education, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Position Responsibilities

Depending on patient needs and clinical setting, this position may include providing occupational therapy services in the following areas:

• Pediatric Occupational Therapy: Provide individualized therapy services to children to support their development, independence, and participation in daily activities.
• Adult Outpatient Therapy: Evaluate and treat adult patients to improve function, independence, and quality of life.
• High-Level ADL Assessments: Perform comprehensive assessments of activities of daily living (ADLs) to identify functional needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Home Health: Provide occupational therapy services in patients' homes to promote safety, independence, and participation in daily routines.
• Inpatient Rehabilitation: Deliver patient-centered occupational therapy services in an inpatient setting to support recovery and functional independence.
• Post-Operative Outpatient Surgery: Evaluate and treat patients following surgical procedures, helping them safely regain function and return to daily activities.
