Business Analyst

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Banking and Financial Services to join our client's team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirements gathering, analysis, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions to understand business needs and objectives.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications for development and testing teams.
• Work closely with technical teams, architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
• Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements and optimization opportunities.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technology teams to resolve issues, manage scope, and drive consensus on project deliverables.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test scenarios, validating requirements, and coordinating with business users.
• Ensure all project documentation, requirement traceability matrices, and change requests are maintained and compliant with organizational standards.
• Leverage banking and financial services domain knowledge to support initiatives related to lending, payments, deposits, risk, compliance, or other financial products and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience creating BRDs, process flows, use cases, and requirement documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior business and technology leaders.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Salary: $65,000 - $130,000 Qualifications: BACHELOR OF COMMERCE
