Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal counsel, advocate for clients in family law matters, and manage a diverse caseload that includes divorce, child custody, visitation, and support issues. Your energetic approach and commitment to justice will help clients navigate complex legal processes with confidence.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in family law along with experience in related legal areas such as estate planning, employment law, and litigation. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality legal services while fostering positive client relationships and ensuring thorough case management.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trials, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings with precision and clarity.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and stay current on statutory laws.
• Prepare for court depositions, trial proceedings, and procedural law requirements to ensure thorough case presentation.
• Negotiate settlements effectively by leveraging strong legal negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Manage all aspects of case files from initial consultation through resolution while maintaining accurate records using legal case management systems.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding case status, legal options, and procedural updates to foster trust and transparency.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of family law procedures, statutes, and regulations.
• Proven experience in estate planning, employment law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, environmental law, and general & commercial litigation.
• Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms to gather relevant legal information efficiently.
• Exceptional legal writing skills for drafting pleadings, motions, contracts, and other documents.
• Effective courtroom advocacy skills with experience in court depositions and trial preparation.
• Skilled in negotiation tactics to resolve disputes amicably or prepare for litigation as needed.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent client communication skills to explain complex legal concepts clearly and empathetically.

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
