Role Description
The Physical Therapist for one of our clients will provide direct patient care in an on-site clinical setting in Norwood, MA, focusing on assessment, treatment planning, and individualized rehabilitation programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting physical therapy evaluations, designing evidence-based treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and monitoring patient progress.
The role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, educating patients and families on home exercise programs and preventive care, and documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role that requires consistent patient interaction, coordination with care teams, and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Physical Therapy, with the ability to integrate clinical knowledge into safe and effective treatment plans.
- Demonstrated expertise in Rehabilitation, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training tailored to diverse patient needs.
- Proven ability in Patient Care, emphasizing compassionate communication, patient education, and culturally sensitive, evidence-based practice.
- Experience with Home Care planning, including designing home exercise programs and coordinating follow-up to support long-term recovery.
- Licensed or license-eligible Physical Therapist in Massachusetts; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams and adapt to varied clinical and consulting environments.
- Prior experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or hospital-based physical therapy settings is preferred.
