Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Oro Valley, Arizona
Position: Physical Therapist
Shift: Mon-Fri 0800 - 1630
Weekends: 2 Weekend requirements Sun-Thu or Tues - Sat.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK HOLIDAYS
Must have In-Patient Rehab, SNU and Acute Care experience
License: AZ license required
Certifications: BLS
Floating: Will float to acute care as needed
EMR: Cerner experience required
Job Summary:
Physical Therapists (PTs) are licensed healthcare professionals dedicated to helping patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore physical function. They play a critical role in promoting overall health and wellness by developing personalized treatment plans and preventive care strategies tailored to each individual’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients through physical examinations and medical history reviews
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent disability
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, and lifestyle modifications
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Design fitness and wellness programs to promote long-term health and mobility
Work Environment:
Physical Therapists work in a variety of settings, including:
- Hospitals
- Private practices
- Outpatient clinics
- Home health agencies
- Schools
- Sports and fitness facilities
- Workplaces
- Nursing homes
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to assess and solve problems effectively

Licensure Requirement:
