Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join a 115-bed skilled nursing facility in Waldorf, Maryland, serving both long-term care residents and short-term rehabilitation patients.
This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekend rotation. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals recover from illness or injury, improve functional mobility, and maintain independence.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care
- Provide skilled therapy interventions based on patient needs and goals
- Treat patients across short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings
- Monitor functional progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on mobility, exercises, and safety
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Promote safe mobility, independence, and quality of life
Qualifications
------------------
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
- Current Maryland Physical Therapist license
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Patient-centered approach to rehabilitation
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
