We are looking for a compassionate and driven Physical Therapist (PT) to join a 130-bed skilled nursing facility in Lanham, Maryland, offering both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation.
This full-time opportunity provides the chance to work with a diverse patient population while developing meaningful relationships and helping patients reach important mobility and functional goals.

Responsibilities
--------------------
- Complete physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and goals
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions
- Treat patients across both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Document treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility, and safety
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Promote patient safety, independence, and quality outcomes
Qualifications
------------------
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
- Current Maryland Physical Therapist license
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing environment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
