Software Engineer

Job Description

Synapse Product Development is seeking a talented and innovative Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for connected products and advanced technology applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, embedded systems, application programming, and system integration. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop reliable software solutions and bring innovative products from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and components.
• Develop embedded software and firmware for connected devices.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Integrate software with hardware, sensors, and communication systems.
• Develop and troubleshoot application interfaces and APIs.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and product engineering teams.
• Support prototype development and product testing.
• Identify technical challenges and recommend effective solutions.
• Maintain software documentation and development standards.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of embedded software development.
• Familiarity with Linux and real-time operating systems.
• Understanding of APIs and system integration.
• Experience with Git and software development tools.
• Knowledge of IoT, connected devices, or hardware integration.
• Familiarity with debugging and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
