JOB SUMMARY:

The Full Stack Developer

Lead is a working lead who both manages and actively contributes to the Full Stack Developer team.

This role is responsible for the team's day-to-day management — including assigning and prioritizing work, overseeing performance, and supporting the growth of each team member — while also personally designing, building, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and front-end applications across Supplylogic's technology platform, including integrations with supplier and partner systems.

This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and well-monitored software solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Team Leadership & Management

  • Directly manage the Full Stack Developer team, including assigning and prioritizing work, setting expectations, and overseeing day-to-day workload across the team.
  • Own performance management for the team, including regular 1:1s, performance feedback, goal-setting, and contributing to performance reviews.
  • Provide day-to-day technical guidance, mentorship, and support to Full Stack Developers, helping them grow their skills and resolve technical blockers.
  • Lead code reviews and establish coding standards, patterns, and best practices across the backend and front-end codebase.
  • Lead onboarding and training for new developers, including training on Supplylogic's systems, tools, and domain knowledge (e.g., supplier integrations, WMS).
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues and production incidents, guiding troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Contribute to technical design decisions and architecture direction in collaboration with the team.
  • Report on team progress, capacity, and risks to the VP-Development, and represent the team in cross-functional planning discussions.

Hands-On Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and Azure Functions (isolated worker model) using C#, ASP.NET Web API, and .NET Core/.NET 8/9 across Supplylogic's applications.
  • Build and maintain front-end features using Angular, working primarily in VS Code, to support internal tooling and customer- or partner-facing applications.
  • Implement and troubleshoot authentication and authorization flows using OAuth/OpenID Connect, PKCE, and Microsoft Entra ID for internal and external system access.
  • Write, tune, and troubleshoot SQL Server stored procedures across SQL Server 2014–2022, including indexing and query performance tuning.
  • Develop and support Azure Service Bus queue processing and retry patterns for reliable message handling.
  • Deploy, host, and monitor APIs and services using Azure Container Apps.
  • Monitor application health and diagnose production issues using Azure Application Insights, including writing Kusto queries.
  • Write PowerShell scripts to support automation, AWS SSO administration, and VPN/network troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders across teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to a range of Supplylogic projects, which may include supplier integrations, and participate in onboarding and training to build relevant domain knowledge as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Leadership

  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or providing direction to other developers, ideally in a working/hands-on lead capacity.
