Physical Therapist

Job Overview

As a Physical Therapist, you’ll help patients improve movement, manage pain, and build skills for daily life. You’ll assess each patient, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care across settings such as hospitals, clinics, outpatient rehabilitation centers, and home and community care.

Duties

• Evaluate patient needs using anatomy and physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and clinical judgment.
• Develop and adjust care plans and treatment plans; deliver physiotherapy and patient rehabilitation, including trigger point therapy when appropriate.
• Document assessments, treatment, and progress in electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems, following clinical documentation standards.
• Communicate clearly with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Adapt patient care for people across age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients, and those with orthopedic or neurological needs.

Requirements

• Practicing in a physical therapy role, with the ability to provide safe, patient-centered care.
• Knowledge of physical therapy documentation, clinical documentation standards, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience with EHR or EMR management is useful.
• Acute care, inpatient, hospital, outpatient clinic, outpatient rehabilitation center, clinic, home health, or home and community care experience is valued.
• Experience with outpatient care, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, or working with geriatric patients is preferred.

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
