About this role

What You’ll Do

Dealership Accounting: Process vehicle sales deals, verify cost of sales, and post journal entries to the general ledger.

Reconciliations

Reconcile factory invoices, floor plan statements, bank accounts, and manufacturer rebate schedules.

Schedules Management

Maintain and clean up core dealership accounting schedules (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and vehicle inventory).

Financial Reporting

Assist the Controller in preparing monthly financial statements and manufacturer-specific financial reports.

Compliance & Tax

Prepare monthly sales tax returns and assist with end-of-year audit preparations. What You’ll Need Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience (dealership or automotive retail environment highly preferred).

Education

Formal education in Accounting or equivalent working experience.

Systems

Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) like Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK Global, or Dealertrack is a major plus.

Skills

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and a sharp eye for variance detection.
