About this role

Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.

**SLP Owned Practice! ** We are a small, successful pediatric therapy practice looking for an OT who is compassionate, dependable, collaborative and comfortable taking a leadership role within an OT/COTA team.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and families, communicates well with parents and other professionals, and wants the freedom to provide individualized care rather than feeling like just another provider in a large organization.

As a small business, we may not offer every benefit of a large hospital or corporate organization, but we offer something we believe is just as valuable: **a workplace that recognizes you have a life and family outside of work. **

We understand school schedules, sick children, appointments, ballgames, family events, and the unexpected things that come with everyday life. Whenever possible, we work with our employees to create schedules that allow them to be excellent therapists without sacrificing the people and responsibilities that matter most to them.

Why You May Love Working With Us

  • **Family\-friendly scheduling** with flexibility when life happens
  • **Consistent weekday hours** without nights, weekends, holidays, or on\-call responsibilities
  • A **small, supportive team** where you are known, valued, and appreciated—not just an employee number
  • **Autonomy as a clinician** with the ability to use your professional judgment and creativity
  • The opportunity to develop meaningful, long\-term relationships with your patients and their families
  • A fun, welcoming pediatric environment designed specifically for children
  • **Less corporate bureaucracy** and more direct communication with clinic leadership
  • An owner who understands the realities of being both a healthcare professional and a parent
  • Opportunities to collaborate with other pediatric therapy professionals
  • The ability to have a genuine voice in how our clinic grows and serves our community
  • A stable and growing private practice with an established pediatric caseload

The Position

The Occupational Therapist will provide skilled occupational therapy services to pediatric patients with a variety of developmental and functional needs. This position combines **direct patient care and treatment, evaluations, family collaboration, and COTA supervision**, allowing the OT to remain actively involved in both the clinical and leadership aspects of the child's care.

Candidates must hold a current **Louisiana Occupational Therapy license** and meet all requirements necessary to supervise a COTA.

Pay: $42\. 00 \- $50\. 00 per hour

Expected hours: 20\. 0 – 35\. 0 per week

Work Location: In person
