Data Analyst

Individual serves as a data liaison to SHP Clients.

Analyst is responsible for communicating data needs to ensure that adequate, accurate data is obtained to support necessary reporting goals.

Analyst is responsible for accessing, collecting and maintaining client data utilizing a proactive approach.

These activities include obtaining, assembling, verifying, modeling and reporting data in preparation for client meetings and/or in response to direct project requests.

May participate in standing Client meetings.

Data Analyst must understand data for all types of health care providers including hospitals, physicians, and ancillary providers and sources of industry standard and/or benchmarking data.

Data Analyst must also understand the flow of data from delivery of service to final resolution of the encounter with the provider.

Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Retrieving data from disparate EHR/PM systems

Administrator for data warehouse solutions and quality-related tools & solutions. Acts as coordinator between developers and internal data warehousing needs

Skills: SQL/database administration experience, EHR/PM experience, intermediate Excel knowledge, programming language is a plus

Other duties as assigned.

Must be team player and want to learn and grow within a small company.

Must be able to work quickly and accurately.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year experience in health care revenue cycle
• Proficient in Excel and Access
• Associate's Degree preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
