**Remote Data Scientist**

We're hiring a Remote Data Scientist for a fast\-growing, well\-funded fintech company. This is a hands\-on, non\-client\-facing seat on a small data team \- you'll apply Python, SQL, and applied statistics/ML to real product and risk questions, working closely with engineers and analysts, and presenting those findings to internal and external stakeholders.

**Requirements:**

• Solid Python and SQL experience
• Foundational statistics (hypothesis testing, regression analysis, experimental design)
• Applied ML exposure (e.g. scikit\-learn)

**Pluses:**

• Experience working in a start\-up or on a fast paced team
• Statistical Risk modelling experience

this client is based in NYC and would love to find a candidate in the NY area who can come in now and then, but they're open to anyone located in the US.

**Salary:**

150K\- 200K DOE!
