Pediatric Occupational Therapist

SteppingStone Day School, Inc., established in 1983, is a large, private, not for profit preschool agency serving young children with disabilities. Our mission is to provide collaborative evaluation, education, therapy and family support services so that young children can develop to their full potential and with their families and friends as members of the community.

We are currently seeking a Occupational Therapist to support our students between the ages of 3 to 5.

Multiple positions open

Bronx (Full - Time ) or Queens (Temp. Full Time Leave) on or around May 1st.

SteppingStone Day School offers NYS Certified Occupational Therapist a sign-on incentive of $7,500.00 within the 1st year of employment.

SSDS offers annual membership to ContinuEd (CEUs) for all salaried therapists

Responsibilities of Pediatric Occupational Therapist :

• Help each child develop to their maximum potential in fine motor, gross motor, visual –perceptual areas and self-help skills with the use of appropriate equipment and by utilizing a variety of strategies, including sensory integration, neuro-developmental and other adaptive techniques.

Requirements of Pediatric Occupational Therapist :

• Pediatric experience
• NYS license in Occupational Therapy
• NPI number
