STATEMENTS Accounting LLC is a growing accounting, bookkeeping, and consulting firm based in Montour Falls, NY. We work with a diverse range of clients, including businesses, nonprofit organizations, and municipalities, providing personalized financial services and trusted guidance.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team!

What You'll Do

As a Senior Accountant, you'll provide accounting services for a variety of clients, with responsibilities including:

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Performing balance sheet and account reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records for multiple clients
• Supporting accounting needs for businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities
• Collaborating with team members to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
• Providing additional accounting support and services as needed

This position also includes approximately 15–20 hours of local travel per month to provide on-site accounting services for municipal clients.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with QuickBooks Online
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Williamson Law Book accounting software (preferred)
• Experience with for-profit, nonprofit, and municipal accounting
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
• A proactive, goal-oriented approach and a collaborative mindset
