ROLE DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for an experienced, sales-driven insurance professional to join our State Farm agency in Plano, Texas.

This is a production-focused position for someone who enjoys selling, building relationships, and turning opportunities into new business. We’re particularly interested in candidates who already have insurance sales experience and can contribute quickly without extensive introductory training.

Our agency provides an established customer base, lead opportunities, competitive compensation, and a team environment where strong performance is recognized and rewarded.

While you’ll help customers understand their insurance needs and maintain relationships, your primary responsibility will be generating new business and growing the agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new business through inbound opportunities, outbound prospecting, referrals, and follow-up.
  • Quote and sell auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
  • Consistently follow up with prospects and convert opportunities into new policies.
  • Cross-sell additional products when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage your sales pipeline.
  • Meet established sales and activity expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to support agency growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous insurance sales experience strongly preferred.
  • State Farm agency experience is a significant advantage.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and consistent follow-up.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and accountable for results.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive base compensation plus performance-based commissions.
  • Established lead opportunities and an existing customer base.
  • A proven compensation structure that rewards consistent production.
  • Opportunities to earn additional compensation through life insurance sales.
  • Supportive team environment with experienced agency leadership.
  • Opportunities for professional development and advancement.

WHO WILL SUCCEED HERE

The right candidate enjoys sales, takes ownership of their results, and doesn’t need constant supervision to stay productive.

We’re looking for someone who can build relationships, recognize opportunities, follow through consistently, and close business.

If you have insurance sales experience and are looking for an agency where your production directly influences your earning potential, we’d like to hear from you.
