About this role
Dallas, TX | Full-time | Hybrid (3 days per week in office) | Reports to the CEO
ABOUT STAKE
Stake is a platform connecting the renter journey from lead to lease to long-term loyalty. We partner with residential operators to deliver renter rewards, credit building, and resident services that make renting better for residents and more valuable for owners. As we grow, we need someone who owns how renters hear about us and keeps our marketing running every day.
That is this role.
THE ROLE
You will own day-to-day consumer marketing execution at Stake. Leadership sets the direction; you make it happen across social, radio, Google paid and organic search, and contests, and you keep it running week after week.
This is a hands-on role for a consumer marketer. You will launch new channels, starting with a refreshed social presence and radio, manage the content calendar, work with vendors and creative partners, and be able to dive into the data to determine what is working and where there is opportunity for improvement. You will report to the CEO and work closely with our operations and growth teams.
Day to day, expect content planning and posting, campaign launches, vendor check-ins, contest management, and weekly performance reviews.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Search
- Manage day-to-day Google paid search (Google Ads) and organic search (SEO) with agency or in-house support.
- Keep campaigns, landing pages, and budgets on track. You do not need to be a search specialist, but you should know enough to manage the work and ask the right questions.
Social Media
- Own Stake's consumer social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others as they fit), including the content calendar, posting cadence, and community engagement.
- Shoot, edit, and post social-first content, including short-form video, and work with creators and design partners when needed.
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions.
- Build and manage relationships with creators, influencers, and resident ambassadors.
- Refresh our social presence and roll out an updated look, voice, and posting plan.
- Track engagement, follower growth, traffic, and app sign-ups, and adjust based on what performs.
Radio and New Channels
- Launch and manage our radio advertising, including working with stations and agencies on scheduling, scripts, live reads, and spend.
- Test new consumer channels and build the process to run them once they work.
- Keep messaging and branding consistent across every channel.
Contests and Promotions
- Plan and run consumer contests, giveaways, and promotions that drive sign-ups and engagement.
- Coordinate official rules, prize fulfillment, and legal review.
- Work with compliance to review financial claims and disclosures (rewards, credit building, banking features) before anything goes live.
Execution and Reporting
- Run the marketing calendar and keep campaigns moving on time and on budget.
- Manage vendors, agencies, and freelancers.
- Prepare weekly performance updates on spend, reach, leads, and sign-ups for leadership.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3 to 4 years of consumer marketing experience, with hands-on ownership of social media channels for a brand or consumer app.
- A portfolio or examples of social content and campaigns you created or ran.
- Able to shoot, edit, and post social-first content on your own.
- Experience launching or managing at least one paid channel beyond social (radio, audio, search, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Google paid search (Google Ads) and organic search (SEO). You do not need to be an expert.
- Comfort with social scheduling and analytics tools (Sprout Social or similar), and design or video editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe.
- Organized and dependable, with a track record of getting campaigns out the door on time and on budget.
- Clear, sharp writing for short-form copy, scripts, and promotions.
- Comfortable working with data and turning results into plain-language updates.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience marketing a consumer fintech or banking app, including working within compliance review.
- Experience driving app downloads and sign-ups for a consumer mobile app.
- Experience running radio or audio campaigns, including working with stations or media buyers.
- Experience running sweepstakes, contests, or referral promotions.
- Background in proptech, multifamily, or real estate, especially marketing to renters or people who are moving.
- Experience managing freelancers or agencies.
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or Google Analytics.
LOGISTICS
- Full-time employee based in Dallas, TX.
- Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office.
- Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000, plus benefits.
- Target start date: December 1, 2026.
TO APPLY
Apply through LinkedIn. The application will ask you to share links to two or three social campaigns or content examples you created or managed.
