About this role

Sales & Operations Manager – Healthcare

Automotive Sales Managers & High-Ticket Sales Leaders Encouraged to Apply Location: San Leandro, CA Position: Sales Management | Office Operations | Business Growth

Job Summary

Are you an experienced sales manager who knows how to close high-value deals, lead a team, develop employees, and drive revenue?

Saleh Chiropractic is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales & Operations Manager to lead our office operations, manage our team, and drive business growth.

We are especially interested in experienced automotive dealership sales managers, finance and insurance (F&I) managers, general sales managers, high-ticket sales professionals, and proven sales leaders looking to bring their skills into the growing healthcare and wellness industry.

If you've successfully managed salespeople, trained employees, handled customer objections, structured financing, managed a sales pipeline, and consistently exceeded revenue goals, we want to hear from you.

This is NOT a traditional medical office manager or receptionist position.

We need a strong leader who can sell, manage, coach, hold people accountable, and take ownership of results.

Healthcare experience is not required. We will provide training on our services, patient enrollment process, and clinical office systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales, Revenue Growth & Closing

  • Lead and manage the sales process for chiropractic treatment programs, wellness services, nutritional and weight management programs, and other products and services offered by the clinic.
  • Present treatment recommendations developed by the doctor, explain program benefits, review pricing, and confidently guide patients through enrollment decisions.
  • Handle financial objections, pricing concerns, financing discussions, and patient hesitations professionally.
  • Develop effective closing strategies to improve patient enrollment and treatment acceptance.
  • Maximize appropriate revenue opportunities through ethical cross-selling and upselling of available services and products.
  • Monitor sales performance, collections, conversion rates, and revenue goals.
  • Personally step in to close challenging or high-value opportunities when needed.

2. Sales Management & Team Leadership

  • Manage, train, coach, and motivate front desk personnel, patient coordinators, and other assigned office staff.
  • Establish clear expectations, daily responsibilities, and measurable performance standards.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and accountability check-ins.
  • Identify employee weaknesses and implement coaching or corrective action.
  • Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
  • Build a positive, productive, and results-driven workplace culture.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate the sales and customer service standards expected from the team.

3. Lead Management & Follow-Up

  • Oversee all incoming patient inquiries from online advertising, website forms, phone calls, referrals, and other marketing sources.
  • Ensure prospective patients are contacted promptly and consistently.
  • Develop and manage follow-up systems for patients who have not scheduled or enrolled in care.
  • Reactivate previous patients through organized outreach campaigns.
  • Track leads, appointments, follow-ups, conversions, and lost opportunities.
  • Ensure employees consistently utilize CRM and patient management systems.
  • Take personal responsibility for high-priority leads and missed sales opportunities.

4. Office Operations & Administration

  • Oversee daily front desk operations, patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and patient communication.
  • Ensure proper collection of patient payments, accurate financial transactions, and account management.
  • Maintain organized schedules, efficient patient flow, and strong customer service standards.
  • Ensure office staff complete their assigned responsibilities accurately and on time.
  • Address operational problems, patient concerns, and scheduling conflicts.
  • Monitor attendance, productivity, and employee performance.
  • Step in to assist with front desk responsibilities, scheduling, collections, and patient coordination whenever necessary.
  • Work directly with the clinic owner to improve office efficiency and profitability.

5. Business Development & Performance

  • Develop strategies to increase monthly revenue, patient enrollment, retention, and collections.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including lead response times, appointment show rates, treatment acceptance, collections, and reactivation results.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and eliminate lost revenue.
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns, promotions, and new service launches.
  • Help expand revenue opportunities through additional healthcare, wellness, and weight management services.
  • Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to ownership.
  • Take initiative in solving problems rather than waiting for instructions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience, preferably involving high-ticket products or services.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct sales management, team leadership, or supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue and sales targets.

  • Experience training, coaching, and holding employees accountable.
  • Proven ability to manage sales pipelines, leads, and follow-up systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence discussing pricing, payment plans, and financial commitments.
  • Strong work ethic, leadership presence, and personal accountability.
  • Ability and willingness to perform hands-on administrative and customer service responsibilities.

  • Performance-based bonuses tied to measurable business results.
  • Training in chiropractic, wellness services, and patient enrollment.
  • Opportunity for advancement as the practice grows and expands.
  • Direct collaboration with ownership and meaningful involvement in business decisions.

Someone who:

  • Can manage people without needing constant supervision.
  • Knows how to motivate a team and hold employees accountable.

  • Is organized, disciplined, competitive, and driven to improve performance.
  • Takes ownership of problems and brings solutions.
