Position

Neurosurgery/Spine Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities:

• Assist neurosurgeons in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurosurgical patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Provide post-operative care, including wound management, pain control, and patient education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance neurosurgical care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current PA or NP license and certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in neurosurgery or orthopedic spine surgery or related field.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of neurosurgical and spine surgery procedures and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
