  • Create integrated program plans that connect milestones, dependencies, resources, capacity, risks, budget, cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.
  • Establish practical PMO governance, operating rhythms, guardrails, escalation paths, and executive reporting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that provide a unified view of engineering progress, quality, velocity, productivity, staffing, financials, infrastructure costs, and schedule performance.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Customer Experience, Sales, Finance, HR, and other teams to translate technical progress into clear business communication.
  • Identify execution risk early, ask credible technical questions, support triage, and help teams restore programs to plan.
  • Improve and automate program tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Help develop a scalable technical PMO model that can grow across teams and geographies.

What You Bring

  • Approximately 7–10 years of relevant experience, including 5–7 years leading technical software projects or programs.
  • A strong software-product background and a practical understanding of how engineering teams deliver software from requirements and design through development, testing, release, and support.
  • Prior experience as a software engineer, technical lead, engineering lead, or similarly technical practitioner is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing concurrent programs, dependencies, risks, release plans, cross-functional stakeholders, and executive communication.
  • Experience defining and using metrics, dashboards, and trend data to improve delivery, quality, cost, capacity, or productivity.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Strong communication, influence, organization, judgment, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work from the Atlanta area in a hybrid model at least two days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PgMP certification.
  • B2B SaaS or enterprise software experience.
  • Global program or PMO experience across distributed teams and regions.
  • Experience with product re-architecture, platform initiatives, capacity planning, infrastructure economics, or cost optimization.
  • Experience establishing or scaling a technical PMO.
  • What Success Looks Like A clear, unified view of global engineering programs and priorities.
  • Reliable governance and reporting that teams and leaders trust.
  • Earlier visibility into risk, dependencies, capacity constraints, cost, and quality trends.
  • A first working version of the technical PMO dashboard and operating model within the first 90 days.
